Spike’s After School was established in 2004 and founded by former Fountain Inn Police Lieutenant Ronnie (Spike) Reid. As a police officer, Spike worked in Fountain Inn Elementary and Bryson Elementary Schools teaching drug and character education programs as well as overseeing their safety patrol programs.

Spike’s After School opened in June of 2004 for Summer Camp with 30 kids. In August 2004, we began our afterschool program, picking up at just two schools, Fountain Inn Elementary and Bryson Elementary. Today we hover around 200 enrollees and pick up at 13 local elementary and middle schools.
